It is God's character of mercy that we are to be awestruck that He did not ignore the greatest evil, but lovingly provided a way for evil to be overcome.
Thanks for posting the quote. I cannot resist adding a few more from Dr. King:
"We will have to repent in this generation not merely for the hateful words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people."

I could go on and on, but I will leave it at that. What an amazing, inspiring, and human leader Dr. King was. And, regardless of political persuasion, he would be immensely proud and the first to challenge our new President to do what is right.
