... A Change of Heart

What, a girl can't change her mind?? I mean, so what if I encouraged one of my closest friends to move out vs. let her get a dog while living with me? Or that I've publicly expressed my dislike of the four-legged kind of friend?

At least I listed her as an exception. And, really, who could resist a face like this?

I have a fenced in yard... a huge dog park across the street. It really isn't all that much work -- she's already housebroken, well trained, obedient, and basically brilliant.

I couldn't just let her be given away on Craigslist, could I?

Certainly not! Not when she'd already captured my heart. You're right Marie, it is fun to have her lay at my feet when I'm reading and the companionship is wonderful.

Welcome to my home and life Sidney.

Wow!! Good for you! I honestly must say I can't believe you have a dog, but reading and drinking coffee will be even sweeter with a sweet pup nearby. Once my dog gets out of traction we'll have a playdate.

yay! Im happy for you--she is really cute. Great that you dont have to deal with the puppy stage---they really are only cute then. Have fun with your new family member!

She's a cutie. I'm not a dog person either, but just the other day at a friends house I started reconsidering...

:-) I'm still totally lovin' her. It's so strange!

Bekah - she belonged to a family I knew that was moving and couldn't take her.

Reb & Kimmy - Bring 'em over. Your dogs that is. We can play at the park across the street. Though I must warn you, Sidney doesn't seem too interested in other dogs. She'll assume you're here to play with her and bring her ball to you.

Amy - That'd be fun to have the kids over to play with her. She's very used to kids and good with them.

THANK YOU for taking such great care of Sid and welcoming her into your home! We miss her, and will have to come visit again this month before we leave. Beautiful pictures, also, Michelle!
