I did it! With a little moral support from Bethany, I was able to press through to completion on my knitting project. And it turned out... twice!
They're little baby booties of course. In a nice fuzzy angora. I must say I'm pretty proud of this accomplishment. Just the fact that they aren't square is a huge step for me (until now I've only knit and sewn in the square, hehe). But I also used double pointed needles and a pattern for the first time. I feel so empowered. Hmmm, what else can I create?

Great Job....hey I have that fabric in pink. HEE HEE . I like the orange too
I think they came out great.
No worries about the tag...I felt a little bad tagging you...I certainly won't be offended if you don't do it :)
I love the booties. I need to learn to make those for next winter for the boys. But I'm a little daunted. Maybe you can help me if I end up on bed-rest and have nothing but time to kill :)

great job michelle! The pics you took for Amy are very nice. Mark joked you should come to our "new baby time"--but I think I really like the idea :)
Love the booties! I'm scared to try anything but X-tra long scarves!
precious...way to go, Michelle!
So cute! Wondered if this was what you were making when we talked the other day...I'm making the same ones for Killian! :-) Bout the same color too, though I like your blue better -the only yarn I had time to find is a bit brighter. They look great!
Wow! I am so envious of all this craftiness that people have. I have none of it. I may just have to try my hand at it. Love the booties. They're adorable.
Wow. Thanks for the all the encouragement gals.
Wouldn't they be fun in adult size Hosanna. I'll have to keep an eye out for a pattern.
Jennifer- of course I'll help.
Ginger- give me a call! That'd be fun!
Judy- try it, it's addicting!
