As I am having company in from out of town this weekend, I thought it would be nice to bake up some banana bread. Everybodys freezer is full of bananas right? So I mix my dry ingredients, my wet ingredients, combine, don't mix too much so it won't come out tough. Stick in the oven. Voila! I dust my hands off and turn around only to see those darn smashed bananas on the counter staring at me. I'd totally forgotten to put them in. So, two questions 1) since most of my friends blame their memory loss on having children, what do I blame mine on? 2) what is banana bread sans bananas?

Too funny! Reminds me of the time I only read part of the directions for baking some fish, which meant I only cooked it half way before serving it to Ted. Yuck!
Anyway, maybe your excuse is excitement over the wedding this weekend??? :-) By the way, can you give Jennifer L. a hug for me when you see her? I think she's in town now ...
LOL! I've decided to blame it on my camera. It seems the more pictures I take, the less memory I have and I'm SURE it has nothing to do with getting older! So the new digitals must somehow fry our brain cells as we hold them in front of our faces for so long.
As for the banana-less bread, know any friends who decorate country style? Maybe they could use it as a doorstop :0) Or maybe it won't be that dry and you'll have discovered your new favorite walnut bread recipe. Let us know!
Are guys aloud to post on this site???
I'll eat anything you cook michelle. However, it's still funny that you left out the banana...
ROBBIE! Of course you are allowed to post. haha. Thanks for braving it. There are guys that have confessed to reading my blog, but they haven't braved a comment yet. So glad you did.
I did have a slice of the bread this morning and it was yum. I'm a carb girl though. Any bread is yum.
Robbie - are you blogging or just sign in to comment? How are you?!?!?!
